The Background
Nanjing University of traditional Chinese medicine, founded in 1954, is one of the earliest universities of traditional Chinese medicine in China. It is a "world-class discipline construction university" jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Province, It is a founding member of the world-class Chinese Medicine University Construction Alliance and the Yangtze River Delta Medical Education Alliance. It is also the World Health Organization (who) traditional medicine cooperation center and the international acupuncture training center determined by the Ministry of Health.
